Better Focus: How To Synchronize Your Brains

The human brain is an incredible organ. It can process information at lightning speed and store memories that last a lifetime. But did you know that there are two hemispheres in our brain? And did you also know that these two sides of our brain work together for us to function optimally? In this article, we’ll explain what’s going on in your head when you meditate with the help of some research findings from neuroscience.

Symptoms of an unsynchronized brain

Keeping the right and left brain synchronized is essential to function at our best. Conversely, when the two halves of the brain are out of sync, it can lead to a variety of cognitive issues.

When you’re feeling confused, or like you’re stuck in a loop of thought patterns, or generally just being unproductive, check if your two hemispheres are in sync by checking for one of these common symptoms:

  • You’re having trouble finishing tasks or projects
  • You keep getting distracted by things that aren’t relevant to what you’re working on
  • You have trouble focusing on one thing at a time
  • There’s a lot of back-and-forth between different ideas or thoughts in your head

In most cases, this type of confusion is not related to any serious medical condition—it’s just that your brain hasn’t been able to settle into its normal rhythm.

The two hemispheres behave differently when in a normal state of consciousness.

A bundle of nerve fibers connects the brain’s two hemispheres called the corpus callosum. This bridge enables them to interact with each other so that both sides can participate in a process and communicate. The left hemisphere is associated with logical thinking, while the right hemisphere is linked to creativity and holistic thinking (it’s also where language is processed).

The two hemispheres also process information differently: for example, visual information sent from our eyes goes through various stages in our brain before reaching consciousness, but this doesn’t necessarily happen when we’re asleep. We don’t see anything when we shut our eyes while sleeping! That’s why things seem to disappear when closed down – they do!

The right hemisphere. (looking for opportunity)

  • Intuition
  • Emotions
  • Spiritual connection
  • Creativity

The right hemisphere is associated with emotions, creativity, intuition, and non-verbal communication. It also seems to involve holistic thinking, a process that includes intuition and an understanding of the whole rather than just its parts. The left hemisphere is typically associated with language and logic.

  • It processes images, audio, and spatial relationships.
  • Deals with the “unconscious” and “subconscious.”
  • Your ability to identify faces, places, and objects
  • Part of your creativity and imagination
  • The ability to empathize with others and experience love
  • The ability to sense depth and movement in space

The right hemisphere is often referred to as the “unconscious” or “subconscious” because it works outside our awareness most of the time. So, for example, you don’t have to think about breathing — your right brain knows how to do it for you. In contrast, the left half of your brain has access only to information that enters through your senses or is stored in explicit memory (for example, facts you learned in school).

The left hemisphere. (tries to make sense out of what you observe)

  • Logical thinking
  • Analytical ability
  • Language

The left side of your brain is associated with logical thinking, analytical ability, language, and speech. It’s also responsible for the way you perceive things around you. Here are some examples:

  • Logic – Your left hemisphere makes decisions based on facts rather than emotions or feelings.
  • Analytical ability – You use logic when solving problems by breaking them down into smaller pieces.
  • Language – You use words to describe what happened in your daily life and express yourself better through writing or speaking aloud.
  • It’s the part of your brain that makes you a rational human being.
  • It has a lot to do with your understanding. Tries to make sense of things.

The two hemispheres also process information at different speeds.

The two hemispheres also process information at different speeds. The left hemisphere processes information at a rate of 200 bits per second, while the right hemisphere processes information at a speed of 400 bits per second. This means that we can do math problems faster using the left hemisphere, but if you want to understand what you see in your peripheral vision or hear someone speaking softly, you will use your right brain.

The difference between these two hemispheres is not only found in how they process information but also in their structure and organization. The left brain is better suited for language processing and analytical thinking, while the right brain has stronger spatial awareness skills such as navigating through your environment or remembering where you parked your car at night by looking out of your car window before turning off the ignition

Yes, it is possible to synchronize these two sides of the brain.

The brain’s two hemispheres are divided by a thick membrane called the corpus callosum. This is where information from both sides of your body crosses to the other side so that you can process it faster than if your two hemispheres were working independently of each other. By practicing daily meditation exercises like those discussed in this article series so far, which encourage us toward self-awareness instead of mindless consumption, we’ll soon find ourselves able to access both sides equally well again—which means synchronizing them!

But what does “synchronizing” mean?

When your brain hemispheres are synchronized, you experience gamma brain waves. When we’re in a gamma brain state, our brains can process information faster than normal, and our thoughts are clearer. This increases our ability to see connections between seemingly disparate pieces of information that might otherwise seem unrelated or unimportant to us if we weren’t in this state.

This synchronization is called “whole-brain synchronization” or “gamma synchronization.”

Gamma synchronization is an altered state of consciousness that’s characterized by increased brain activity and heightened levels of awareness. It is a state in which the brain’s two hemispheres work together in harmony instead of being at odds with each other.

When your brain enters this synchronized state, the two hemispheres are firing together and processing information simultaneously. This whole-brain synchronization helps you

  • Think more clearly and creatively
  • Solve problems faster and more accurately
  • Improves memory retention and recall
  • Enhances creativity (including artistic expression)
  • Improves emotional intelligence and empathy for others
  • It can even increase feelings of joy!

Elevating your brain’s frequency

Whole-brain synchronization occurs when the left and right hemispheres reach a frequency of at least 38 Hz simultaneously and in phase with each other. This type of brainwave synchronization is associated with consciousness, insight, compassion, intuition, creativity, and happiness.

Gamma waves are a type of brain wave that occur above 30 Hz (or cycles per second). These brain waves are associated with higher states of consciousness such as: creativity; heightened mental clarity and focus; lucid dreaming; profound meditative experience; near death experiences; spiritual enlightenment/realization/awakening; precognition & clairvoyance; telepathy or mind-reading (i.e., knowing what someone else is thinking without them telling you first)

Research has shown that gamma synchronization can be measured during meditation.

Gamma synchronization is a measure of brain activity. Studies show that gamma synchronization is associated with meditation, which has been shown to increase gamma synchronization. Research also shows that people in states of higher consciousness exhibit greater levels of gamma synchrony than those in lower states. This suggests that gamma synchronization may be associated with being in the present moment and paying attention to what’s happening around you.

Meditation opens the door to the possibility of changing the world for good.

The secret of brain synchronization is meditation. If you want to change the world and make it better, then becoming conscious is your first step.

Consciousness is the key to understanding everything in this universe—the mind, the brain, and all its functions, our bodies and how they operate and react to external stimuli—as well as ourselves: who we are as humans on this planet Earth.

How to synchronize your brain

You can achieve a brain state of synchronization by practicing mindfulness meditation. The best way to synchronize your brainwaves is using one form of meditation that has been proven to do so. These include mindfulness meditation, transcendental meditation (TM), and Zen practice.

Another excellent practice for brain coherence is to try learning something new every day! For example, challenge yourself with some math problems or start learning a language (or even just practicing pronunciation). You’ll be amazed at how much easier it gets as time goes on! And don’t forget about creativity—try drawing or writing poetry or short stories. You might even discover something new about yourself in the process!

Other ways to synchronize your brainwaves include listening to binaural beats or hearing tones within specific frequencies with headphones on your ears that make sounds similar to those produced in nature when two things vibrate at the same rate—like two tuning forks struck simultaneously.

Problem-solving with a synchronized brain

When trying to solve a problem that requires creative thinking, you should try not only using your analytical side (the left hemisphere) but also your intuitive side (the right hemisphere). This way, you will be able to take advantage of both types of thought processes, which will allow you to come up with more creative solutions than if you were just using one side or the other.

Conclusion

In this article, we’ve looked at the different parts of the brain and how they interact. We also discussed some techniques that can help you activate your right hemisphere to improve intuition and creativity. But there is another way to do this: by training yourself to reach a high level of synchronization between these two sides of your brain (gamma synchronization). You can achieve this by practicing meditation or other techniques such as yoga, drumming or singing in groups.
